Timeshift Steam, massive stuttering?

Anyone played this game on PC? i bought it today and want to play it, but i get awful stuttering, so i enabled Vsync to see if it cures it, it still happens?

Ahh the Steam version is not patched, so i am going to try and patch it to 1.2
