If you want cheap and good compression fittings get EK compressions.

The retailers here in Sweden are very limited, the one I'm buying everything else from only has those no-name compressions. The EK ones are offered by another one based in Denmark that does ship to Sweden, although they are twice the price each and I'd have to pay double shipping as they don't offer the same stuff I got in my list (and the equivalent products they do offer are much more expensive).

If I were you I would add a reservoir, it makes your life easier when you need to fill your loop

The radiator in the H220 is a rad-res combo and has its own fillport. I did consider a reservoir but decided to wait with it until' I feel a greater need for it. The very very cheapest one I could find was $30 and doesn't seem to be half bad, but other models were more like $50-60..

I know that th H220 has a rad-res combo but I think it's a lot harder to fill the loop from a fillport on a rad that is attached to the case

And depending on the case you may upgrade to it may not leave the fillport very accessible

Filling and bleeding is done all outside the case. I just test fit everything, attach the tubing and make sure everything is good before I take everything up and actually fill it up. By the time I put it in, I've made myself certain it should be leak-free and filled properly. If I'd ever need to, I would take the res (regardless if it's a case-mounted one or built into any other component) out of the case to be on the very safe side. The only benefit I can think of with a second res would be that I can see the water level since it's transparent.

It's not too hard also to drill a hole in the top of the case as well for the purpose of easy access to the fillport, especially as in the Arc R2 the fillport will be directly below one of the fan mounts.

There might be a problem here.. So the Mayhems Biocide have ran out of stock and, according to the retailer's website, can take up to 2-3 weeks for them to get me.

There's another retailer that offers silver coils, but they charge $300 for single coil, which I think is a fairly high price. The Biocide is only $75. Another thing is that I'm not sure where to put

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do about it? I'm gonna run pure distilled water.. would it work with perhaps if I drop a silver chain or something in the fillport of the H220. As long as it's wider than the vessels the water flows it shouldn't cause an issue, right? It has "925" engraved in it, so I'm sure it's silver, although not in its purest form. Also I believe I've read about replacing even silver coils with time, would putting the chain in the res potentially cause signs of wear on it? Because it does come from my jewelery box...

Okay, so to update the list:

Screw the no-name compressions, the EK CSQ ones look much sexier so I'll pay the extra for them. I might throw in some 90 degree converters as well although I might change my mind.

Another thing I might throw in if budget allows will be the EK RES X3 110 but it'll be at the bottom of my list of things for now. It would be nice to have though for the future.

I'm still not sure what to do for algae-prevention. The Biocide, as said, went out of stock and there's no signs of it returning in stock anytime soon. Perhaps I could go to a jeweler and get a piece of pure silver to put in the res? If so what should I ask for? Alternatively, would it work with some biocide from a gardening store or something?

I've also now ordered the tubing and radiator. Everything else will be ordered from 2 different retailers due to mainly availability

Case is ordered now too!

Only the fittings and potentially res left to order, I should have everything at some point next week. I need to go buy some distilled water as well at some point during the week

I'll post a build log when I actually get everything so that I can start building.
