hey i need to know if my psu fan push air or pull air becuse its mounted on the bottom of my case and i want it to be an intake i want front and bottom intake and top an back exhaust 

my psu is:seasonic 620w 80+ bronze m12ii evo http://www.seasonicusa.com/M12II-Bronze.htm

can anyone here tell if its take air inside the psu or push air out of the psu

the fan sucks air to cool the components of the PSU. the air is then exhausted out the back.

 

usually people mount it so it sucks air in from the bottom of the case, then exhausts out the back (fan side down).

usually a PSu fan pulls air into the PSu and exhausts that air out the back of the PSU.

a good way to test this is to turn on the PSu and put your hand close to the fan, then feel if it pulls air through your fingers or blows air out.

All (standard) psus pulls air IN from the top and pushes it OUT through the back.

There are almost no exceptions

that's very strange. usually there are plain sides, 1 side with the fan on it, 1 side where the cables come out (sometimes vented but often not), and then the final side is vented with the power plug and switch.

OOOOOH I SEE we're getting the sides mixed up. you see the image on the page you linked in the OP. the fan sucks the air in. the air then exhausts out the side facing towards you.

02_airFlow.gifThis is how most PSU airflow works. The In (blue arrow) part is usually mounted at the bottom, while the exhaust part (red arrow) is usually at the back of a case.

it looks like this and if ur right so its cool cus my fan side is down like i want cus i am going to change my case soon so iwant to know
