660ti vs 7870 Tahiti LE or wait?

Hello everyone! I have a little problem. I am building myself a new rig based on the  FX8320 and now I am looking for a video card. The options I have are either the GTX 660ti or the 7870 Tahiti LE edition. Both cost around 230€. Also should i buy a gpu now or wait for the 9000 series from AMD?

My system specs
AMD FX8320 @3.5GHz
Asus M5A99X evo 2.0

8GB Kingston hyperX 1600MHz RAM
XFX 550W PRO
Samsung 830 128GB

Can't you find the 760 for cheaper then the 660ti?

Why not 760? Also wait and see what the 9000 series brings, it's right around the corner.

It costs about 30€ more than the GTX 660ti but if its a lot better than both the 7870 and the 660ti then I am wiling to spend the money :D

sapphire radeon 7950 is for 230 on pcpartpicker.com 

or a little more hot version is for 200 ( XFX ) ( Powercolor )

for 240 you get overclockable 7950 

7870 xt is no longer price / performance holder. yes it does overclock amazingly, but the price stayed around 250 mark too long.

overclocked 7950 = 7970

 

and yea 9xxx series <---

no, genius, its free with most cards i told, or it has promo code so its so low price.

btw amazon.de ships to greece, if you buy whole system in germany, it would cost you less with shipping

Get a 760 or wait for 9000 series. I would wait if I were you

ok so i was wrong. the prices are in dollars so 230$ = 172€!!! I actualy didnt searched for the cards I only looked at the site and saw it was just linking products to other sites like newegg and tigerdirect. If any of these sites ships worldwide it would be great(I am looking at it)! Also amazon.de ships to greece and the  shipping is like 10€ which is ok but I still dont know if I should wait for the 9000 series or get a 760/7950 now. :unsure:
