multi monitor setup/couch play & websurf (from desk)

is there software or settings (in windows) that allow me to use two applications simultaneously, one with an Xbox 360 remote and the other with keyboard & mouse?

in other words, surf the web while my brother plays games?

thanks. I'll install it and test it out tomorrow. This is a very good start (if it works as advertised)

edit:

just ran some tests. doesn't do what I need it to. at least not with a remote. I'll do further testing with keyboard/mice later. sigh.
