dxtory matrox codec not working

so i followed a tutorial by jackfrags but when i hit record it says init under the fps counter and does not record anything how do i fix this

MATE I HAVE THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM, FIX: DONT USE THAT CODEC! just use lagarith or dxtory's, I have no clue if there is any other fix but changing the codec fixed it for me
