140mm fan options

Go to solution Solved by tomas710,

As a side note, what's a decent 120mm static pressure optimised fan? I'd rather not get a Noctua for that one as it will be sitting in a second build which will be cheaper.

My slight OCD also prevents me from putting better parts in my secondary PC over my main rig, so NF-F12 is out. :')

Well, NF-P12s are cheaper. I have Phanteks MP and they work great, so do AP123s

A good cheaper options if Cooler Master Silencio FP, i bought one just to check it out since it was like 6-7 dollars and they are very quiet high SP fans. Not sure they are available in the US but i'll leave a british link cause....idk

The Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 5 comes with 3 of Cooler Master's fans, which are pants. I just took the top cover off and found one of the fans to be not spinning (it's connected to my Grid+ by way of a fan splitter). I gave it a little nudge and it was able to spin again, but still, not impressed.

I've got 3 Corsair AF140s in the front, which are great, but I kind of want to move away from those fans as I develop my PC further.

Should I get some half-decent budget fans just to replace the awful Cooler Master fans? Or should I spend a bit more and get myself something like Noctuas? If I do, I'll only be getting the Redux NF-P14.

Thanks for the help.

Not to be that guy... but if you eventually don't want those AF140s, I would be willing to buy them from you so that you don't toss 'em. PM me if you're interested.

NF-P14s are great, just very high quality fans at a decent price. They don't come with rubber mounts, but you can buy those for next to nothing

I was looking at the NF-P12, but it's not a static pressure optimised fan. I'm planning to run a 120mm AIO rad in a Cooler Master Elite 110.

That Cooler Master fan looks like it should do the job - thanks!
