should be able to combine all your drives using a RAID array. I believe RAID 0 or 5 (maybe not 5 cant remember). Also I believe that as long as your freeNas is hooked up the network (or hardwired if you want faster up/download speeds) you should (dont quote me) be able to use it on both of them.
