Amplifying headphone audio

I recently purchased the Steelseries H wireless headphones as reviewed by linus here:

 

 

 

Anyways, I love these headphones, the quality is really good (well, the second set I got where good, after returning the first set). The only thing I really dislike about them is it seams that the audio on the max volume setting still isnt really that loud. The headphone transmitter is connected by an optical cable. Is there any way to boost or amplify the sound with hardware?

 

I'm not much of an audio guy, so sorry for the noob question. I appreciate the answers.

Nope. Their specs quotes 100dB max, which does seem pretty low.

Doesn't he even mention IN the video that they are quiet?
