So I put in new Skylake series parts into my rig and have been having trouble ever since. I've had memory_management BSOD's as well as 1 KMOD_Exception not handled error. I ran Memtest and it did not find any errors. I plan on re running it tomorrow.

  • Original OS - Windows 7 - updated to Windows 10
  • Installed Windows 7 myself from a disk
  • Parts are 3 years old - except for new CPU, MOBO, and RAM
  • Have no reinstalled OS
  • CPU: i7-6700k
  • MOBO: ASRock Z170 Extreme 7+
  • RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2666
  • PSU: Corsair CX500W
  • GPU: HIS 7950 HD

Did you do a clean windows install?

I have not done a clean install. Everything was working fine until I put in the new CPU and MOBO, and RAM.

Did you replace the Motherboard and CPU before you installed 10?

Mobo, CPU, and RAM are all brand new.

I set it to 2666 - it crashed, I set it back to the default thinking maybe that was why, still crashed. -- also yeah I need to follow it lol sorry.

Did you replace an existing CPU Motherboard and Ram before you installed windows 10 or after or not at all?

Windows 10 was upgraded to with my i5-3570k CPU, Corsair Vengeance Ram, and ASRock MOBO. It was after Windows 10 was installed that I put in the new parts.

Windows 10 is anti new hardware.

Revert to Windows 7, install drivers, then update again to 10

I'll give it a shot in the morning and let you know if it helps. The only problem is the BSOD have only occurred when playing League, and they havnt happened everyone I have played either. It's like it picks and chooses when to crash. So the reply may not be immediate yes or no it works.
