High cpu usuage

Go to solution Solved by Zayzo,

it's suppose to be running at 4.3ghz/4.5ghz? On idle?

Why did you turn off eco mode? Its supposed to be on. It puts your cpu at a low clock speed on idle. U literally caused your own problem and are asking us how to fix something that was never broken.

Hi there all,

It's been a while since I've posted and am having a big issue.

So first off a little Background:

The computer is less then a day old and did not have any issues with the build.

Specs:

Motherboard: Msi z97 Gaming 7

CPU: Intel i7 4790k

RAM: Corsair vengeance Ram 8gb x2

Cpu cooler: Corsair h100i Cpu cooler

GPU: MSI 970 4gb

OS: Windows 10 Pro

PSU: Corsair 750w

Issue(s):

So I noticed that my cpu wasn't running pass .74ghz Looked that up and found out it was running in economic mode (whatever that means.) Now that I turned that off my cpu won't stop running at 4.3ghz at ALL times. Temp is at 35-47 degrees Celsius. any help would be fantastic.

Thank you,

iasianxmofoi

^this.... turn back on eco mode, it wont use much power when its not needed but once you start to use more resources it will ramp back up again
