Budget gaming pc

I want to build my first pc

But it seems to be hard for me to get the best out of my budget as i need gaming/video editing pc 

i came out with the build : 

 

-intel core i5 4690k

-gtx 970

-corsair 8gx2

-evga 500W

-WD 1TB BDrive

-msi z97-g45

 

-as i though from many search as it will have a very good performance on gaming and video editing but it was exceeding 700$/5480EGP which is too much for me i want somewhere around 500-600$/4000/4670EGP

 

so i was asking to help me out getting like alternative that give same performance with low cost

Well i heard about that amd is somewhat low performance than the nvidia so im afraid of wasting money ! PS:its expensive mate

Go skylake OR consider going AMD if you're on a thight budget. FX-8350 would be even better when rendering.

Their GPU's are good value for money (Except their high end stuff)

 

Their CPU's are average and I would only recommend them for <$500 builds (or multicores-workloaded builds in extreme cases)

I would recommend replacing the i5 with a Xeon e3 1231 v3 as it has 8 threads and a base clock of 3.4 and turbos to 3.8(where I live they are the same price as a 4690k) and get a h81/87/97 Mobo as they do not overclock.This will get you better video editing performance and similar gaming performance (you won't be doing much CPU overclocking with a stock cooler) for less money as a h chipset is much cheaper than a z chipset.

The 390 is a better GPU than the 970 in all but completely nVidea optimised games and will likely have much better dx12 support so I would go with that as it is also $30 cheaper (again, where I am) this extra money should be invested in a higher wattage power supply as the 390 recommends a 650w

Nvidia is more premium, but i all goes down to what you buy.

Not entirely true

AMD CPUs are kinda garbage compared to Intel but for GPUs AMD is great option and tbh I prefer their GPUs to Nvidia overall expect for the 980Ti but Nvidia has CUDA cores which are more utilized in video editing

Multiple mainstream video editing softwares utilize CUDA acceleration.

But it depends unless the software you use utilizes OpenCL then I would generally recommend Nvidia for video editing

Sony Vegas has CUDA acceleration so it would utilize a Nvidia GPU better
