tekkit white screen fix??

ok some one i know on skype got his dads old  dell laptop with windows xp and went to play tekkit and when it loads up it crashes and goes to a white screen 

things we have tried deleting the tekkit folder and re installing tekkit

oh dear was that YOUR computer i just downloaded a few dozen viruses on when you weren't paying attention?
