Bios not responding

Hi

 

I have a old computer that my dad wants to use as his laptop just broke (HDD).

 

When I start the computer and press Del to get into the bios nothing happens so I have to restart the computer to try again.

 

PC: specs are  Asus P5VD2-VM mobo, Core 2 quad CPU,4GB Samsung ram,Gt 610 gfx card.

 

I think the ps2 keyboard port is broken but not sure.
