7.1 Speaker Setup Recommendations

Looking for any speaker recommendations. I have a subwoofer, and am missing the other 7 speakers. I recently moved to Brazil, and the 7 speakers I wanted to buy are not sold here. While I save up for 7 of these, I would not mind having something else for the time being. PC speaker pairs, standalone speakers, etc. Would like a wide range of recommendations.

 

Side note: import taxes are way to high ~ 60%. So post any speaker and I will find out if it is sold locally.

How much are you looking at spending and what brands are available there? Is this for PC use or for home theater use?

7 of the speakers I wanted is a total of 1190CAD$, so less than that price is ideal. There are few brands: Beringer, Yamaha, Rokit, Bose, Creative, Logitech. For a PC use.

Are you looking at powered monitors? 

 

The JBL LSR305 monitors may do the job.
