Is ram still usable even though the computer had a fatal power surge when interrupting a bios update?

I7-6700k, Asus Maximus VIII Formula, 2 x 8GB Corsair Dominator Plantinum ram, ASUS GTX 960 STRIX, sound blaster zx, 1TB boot drive ssd, 128GB/256GB storage ssd, 1TB storage HDD, 4TB of storage (backup),Windows 10 Pro,1000w psu

This varies, however you most likely bricked your BIOS.

 

Most newer motherboard have an ability to reflash your BIOS however, and I will be glad to help you through this process.

 

Could you please provide your motherboard model so I can take a loook?

 

(If you are speaking about the RAM itself, yes it will probably work still)

Im going to say this again, only to be sure you know what I am saying/asking. Is the ram inside my laptop still usable even though the computer had a fatal power surge from interrupting a bios update? To make it clearer, when I had interrupted the update by forcing a shut down, I was told by an expert I burned up the mobo. So basically, I am only interested in the RAM if it still works.
