Mouse pad anti-static?

Go to solution Solved by Knaj,

As long as you don't build on carpet and make sure to ground yourself before touching components, you should be fine putting it on pretty much any surface.

Hey guys!

So i build more and more pc's and with expensive components, as you all now static is dangerous for components.

I have a Huge mousepad, the Steelseries Qck +,

i there anyone that know is it is safe to mut a motherboard / GPU on it or now a way to test it?

I want to use it as an anti-static surface.

Thanks! :)

Even though the chances of you killing a motherboard by placing it over a mouse pad are quite low, it's always better to use a cardboard box.

The stars died for you to be here today.

A locked bathroom in the right place can make all the difference in the world.
