M-Audio Fast Track Pro input problem

Hey everyone, 

 

I am having issues with my M-Audio Fast Track Pro USB audio interface when I try to record guitar. All I get is terrible and uncontrollable distortion. I have had this audio interface for years and never have had this problem on this iMac (yeah yeah, Mac, I know). I have played with every setting within the preferences of my DAW (Logic Pro X) and within the audio interfaces preferences Itself, tried multiple guitars and cables, and I get the same problem, constant distorted input. I also have updated drivers and have checked audio play back through it and it is perfect. It is only when recording audio. Does anyone have a solution? Is the interface shot?Thanks.
