Linux Virtual Box - Activated Windows 7 Enterprise won't update [Host: Debian 8.1]

I am trying to set up a virtual machine on a Dell Vostro 3560, using an activated version of Windows 7 Enterprise 64 Bit (SP1), but it will not pick up any updates.

I am running the machine using 2/4 cores and providing 4GB/8GB for memory. I am also using the bridged adapter setting, to place the VM on my physical LAN. However, when I try to update, my VM will never find the updates, but search for them, without failing, for hours until stopped.

My Windows tower is finding windows 10 updates just fine however. I am using the wireless card to connect the Host to my network.

Perhaps someone here may be able to shed some light on the issue?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
