Metro last light 30% gpu usage

so im having a issue with metro last light only using 30% usage and getting about 20 fps

 

 

when i launch the game it uses a normal 100% and i get about 100fps

specs are in my signature

wow thats weird, u check for driver updates for ur 280x?

drivers?

 

maybe just need to restart?

temps are under 50c

 

drivers are the most recent and has happened on 3 sets of drivers

 

restarted multiple times

I presume you've got advanced physx disabled? Also, make sure SSAA is turned off.

hate to say it but some of those psus have failed that may be the  problem

psu is fine, the system is good for everything but metro
