Problem solved upgraded to a 100mbit connection now they don't cap me at 500kb/s but at 2,3mb/s

Looks to me you've set your phone up as a hotspot in your home, right? (assuming that from the Huawei brand) AFAIK, some phone ISPs like to say - 2.5GB full speed, rest is then throttled until next month - instead of fully stopping servicing you at 2.5GB. I don't see anything wrong with that, but if it is a regular home network and you pay for more and you don't get what you pay for, contact the ISP.
