What to use to defrag disk? Stock Windows or 3rd party?

Windows2000
Go to solution Solved by TheMechEngineer,

I've used Auslogics Disk Defrag and it's pretty good (freeware too btw).

What should I use to defrag my disk? I just cleaned it up so my disk should be overdue for a defrag now.

Puran Defrag is my go-to choice for defragging.

The built in one in Windows does the job pretty well. It even knows when you have an ssd and will run a trim command instead.

Defraggler ftw.

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

Arguing with religious people is like explaining to your mother that online games can't be paused...
