Msi 970A g43

 

Gigabyte r9 270

 

230gb hd

 

16gb ram

 

750w psu

 

I called Gigabyte and told me when I sent it back the graphic card was working, when I plug it to my computer it doesn't start. So dose anyone know how to fix a mobo that wont detect a graphic card???

 

and explain why it wont detect it

 

or show me the jumper pins to reset the bios if it dose anything....

Well, first steps is to try other PCIe slots and see if it works. Update the BIOS and see if it works. Try a different card if you can and see if it works. Try a different PSU and see if it works... It could be many things, not certainly the motherboard. If everything you try fails, you may have to RMA the board.

Because they are one and the same probably - Comapaq Prescario CQ56 is the full name here - Windows 7 on it but I plan on changing it to WIndows 8.1
