Condenser Mic / Phantom Power

Simons

Hello guys,

So I just found out that I need phantom power in order to power up my condenser microphone (MXL V67G) and I just want to get it right.. But if I order something like this https://www.av-cables.dk/mikrofoner/phantom-power-unit.html?gclid=Cj0KEQjwx_WuBRDJ7tSK2-W0pJkBEiQAEWgR8Okt_iMmyPqoUV0lGZ_OhwgFjvQxdCBOuatUAHdx79EaAhr68P8HAQ

Would that mean I could put a Minijack to XLR to this unit and then a XLR to XLR cable into the actual microphone and get it working?

I got a XLR to Minijack right now and yeah that doesnt work due to it not having phantom power.

Thanks in advance!

I have no idea to interpret that currency, and thus no way to know what your budget is. So I'll just recommend the Scarlett Solo, which has phantom power and dedicated mic preamp.

I ended up ordering a USB Mixer with Phantom Power and hopefully this will make it work like a charm.
