uTorrent; Why does it always ask me to downgrade? + Torrent software suggestions.

Windows2000

Why does uTorrent always ask me to downgrade?

Should I even use uTorrent?

If not what do you guys recommend?

I produce music!

What do you mean, like it's telling you to update, but to a earlier version? Could you show an image of the error/message?

just go use qbittorrent if you're tired of the stuff that utorrent and bittorrent are pulling...

it's slightly worse but at least it doesn't spam you with malware-laden ads...

utorrent 2.21

no frills, no useless feature, no money making intention, and it works.

it's the last version of what a torrent application should be and they did it and sold the ip based on that, and they've succeed

so now you still get all of that, but with "making profits" in-mind.

if you search for alternative, it just redirect what people use in general

vuze

qbittorent

transmission

deluge

I've tried all of that, but simplicity and "fear of change" keeps me go back to uttorrent, I don't understand why the urge for upgrades if it works.
