Hi,

I've been having problems with very annoying mouse input lag. Basically my mouse feels like its dragging in mud. It all started last week or so, everything was fine before.

Games I've been playing are CS:GO and CS:S and it happens in both. But, it happens in Windows too.

What I've tried:

- clean installs of XP, 7, 8.1, 10 and ubuntu - still same on all of them

- changing monitor

- changing gpu and ram

- changing mouse

- bios reset and disabling various stuff like c1e, svm...

I'm running both games on 300+ fps, markc mousefix applied, msaa off, tried raw input...

My mouse is Deathadder Chroma but that doesnt matter since I've tried my friends SS Rival and some old mouse and they all act the same.

So I've tried changing everything besides mbo and cpu. Don't know what else to do.

well first things first. fix your fps. there is no point in running 300fps as your monitor can't display 300fps. Second. check to make sure your mouse pad isn't sticky?

Actually passing above 200fps gives a significant cut in monitor input lag, but i agree 300 is to much.

Over 100 fps on 60hz panels still feels better than 60 fps on a 60hz panel.

I'm almost sure it's hardware related since it happens in Ubuntu too.

Probably a motherboard issue. Have you tried all usb ports?

Think it has to do with the motherboard. Do you know which motherboard it is?

But you can always try to find a mouse with very low input lag. Xtrfy's new mouse the XG-M2 is rated at 1ms input lag.

Btw did you also try to uninstall the driver (razer synapse)?

Yes, first thing I tried.

Have you tried turning raw input off? Myself and a couple of friends noticed that raw input makes the mouse feel more delayed and it also feels like it adds smoothing to all of your movements, but only in csgo. And is this mouse delay only in games, or does it feel delayed on the desktop too?

Hi.
