What is the SUB?

jonasa97

Hi,

My new headphones (Roccat Kave) have a few dials on the desktop remote. There's center, front. rear and sub.  What is this for since it doesn't change anything when I change it ingame?

Subwoofer

Edit: Ninja'd

What exactly does it do and how can I "test" it?

It produces the bass and the lows in the audio you are listening to

A subwoofer is generally a third speaker that is used to create those lower bassier sounds that you would hear. I would then assume that the SUB function will help smooth out and generate those lower down sounds giiving it more bass.

Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy?
