Crossfire with APU?

You cannot. 

 

Most of amd's APUs can only crossfire the R7 250/240 gpus.

 

The 270X is already far more powerful than a A10's integrated graphics. Just use it as a dedicated card until you can afford a cpu upgrade.

I have an XFX R9 270X GPU and an AMD A10-6700 w/ Radeon HD APU. Linus mentioned in his SLI vs Crossfire video that it's possible to Crossfire any AMD GPU with AMD APUs, although he also said he didn't really recommend it. Why should I or shouldn't I do this, and how would I go about it? Thanks in advance.

The reason he didn't recommend it is that the GPU is so low end that it doesn't really matter vs a higher end GPU like your 270X.

 

The answer;  Don't, at best it will slow your GPU down to the level of the APU which in this particular case... is around 2x as fast as a Haswell Graphics unit for reference.

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.
