FIRST TIME BUILDING A PC

I am bbuilding a pc for the first time and i put everything together it doesn;t start up the fans spin and i feel some heat but my monitor will not light up

My build

CPU-i54960k

Mobo MSi PC mate z97

psu-corsairtx750

Ram-2 gskil 1 gig (ram old i know build using these until my new ones arrive)

Make sure everything is connected properly and securely.

That CPU doesn't exist.

He probably switched the 9 and 6. I think i he means the i5  4690k

well safley plug in your graphics card and then put the display cable into the graphics card and please be sure the monitor is on

I got confused for a second because he didn't put a space betwen i5 and the model.

i hope he doesnt have a old pci graphics card or AGP and literally tries to push it in a pci express slot... haha
