I am helping my reliative build his computer but i don;t know what parts to pick.

CPU: AMD or Intel(if Intel, likely rto be the 20th an. Pentrium)? and which model?

Ram: capacity? 4GB, 8GB or 16GB?

Motherboard: (don't need high end looking for more USB ports tho) perfer m-atx or atx

GPU: AMD or nVidea and which one.........(if new r series are the same as the old 7700,7800,7900 series? then i can go with old series to go for budget.....

NOTE: Only streams movies/videas and games that are not FPS......so Dota, LoL, Starcraft II, etc.

plz keep in mind, OS, and other periferals are included in the budget of $500

Also no overcloaking

Pirate windows or u will be using linux.

Pentium G3258 with the cheapest H97 motherboard u can find. Grab a case and a good power supply and use the rest of the budget on a GPU.

BUT TBH your better of used IMO

Monitor is like 120$ alone + keyboard and mouse is like 70 more so that eaves 300 left the the PC, id go used.

Laptop: Thinkpad W520 i7 2720QM 24GB RAM 1920x1080 2x SSDs Main Rig: 4790k 12GB Hyperx Beast Zotac 980ti AMP! Fractal Define S (window) RM850 Noctua NH-D15 EVGA Z97 FTW with 3 1080P 144hz monitors from Asus Secondary: i5 6600K, R9 390 STRIX, 16GB DDR4, Acer Predator 144Hz 1440P
