Hey guys,

Since I'm exercising more recently and it's time for me to get a new watch I looked up some smartwatches, before getting into buying one I'd like your opinions.

My eye fell on the LG G watch R (which has worse specs but a more watch-like design) and the samsung Gear S (which had the better specs and therefor my preference)

So, what do you guys think about (these) smartwatches, should I get one or should I go with a designer watch instead? Other recommendations are welcome as well.

I love my original Pebble. The pricing is cheaper than many other smartwatches out there, the battery life is supreme, it is waterproof to 50m. And you can get so many customisability options like wraps and skins, watch straps, etc.

Imo, the best smartwatches are no smartwatches.  Watches are a piece of technology that I prefer to not have apps, they should tell the time and look good doing it (something that no smartwatch has done imo) I'm willing to use a calculator watch, but that is as smart as my watch will be getting....

I've tried it but concluded that it didn't suit me well, I love having a more elaborate smartwatch, otherwise I would opt for a

normal watch because of practicality and fashion.

:P So you would go for a designer watch and a fitbit?

I have had the LG G Watch R for about two months now, I would highly recommend this watch for the following reasons

*Amazing battery life (after a whole day of max brightness and decent use i have about 45% battery so not worries about that.
*Compared to what i have heard about the Moto 360, the LG smart watch has a circle display in a circle watch not a square display in a circle watch.
*Has alot of compatiable games that work quite well ( EG: Solitare, Mineshaft).
*A large list of watch faces are made for the circle face so you won't have a problem of finding the one that you like to stick with.
*A very durable watch.

Overall , in my opinion this is easily the best smart watch on the market that i have seen as of now (21/08/15)

Hope this helps
