Okay so I am pretty Tech literate, but my Grandpa insist that I am wrong. So let's get a second opinion.

 

Problem: The computer will not display an image using GPU and Onboard Video.

 

My conclusion: Motherboard it fried

 

Room Temp: The room where his computer is, is about 94-97 degrees Fahrenheit.

 

Troubleshooting:

Removing GPU and cleaning it out then reinserting = still no video video

Replacing GPU with random GPU around the house = still no video video

Trying onboard video = still no Video

Rebuilding whole Unit= still no video

Replacing PSU= still no video

 

I do not know the specs because I built this PC when I was around 12-13 years old (I am now 19.) It does have a cooler master cpu fan though along with 3 case fans

Only one GPU slot

After those steps, yes I would have to agree the motherboard is more than likely the dead component. Reseat the memory? That does also tend to cause issues.

You won't know for sure without testing it. You'll need a different board (or try to get a motherboard speaker and listen for the POST code readout.

I only get one beep when starting up the computer. Usually with bad RAM I get like 4-5 beeps

Usually if it's a no-POST situation, you would be getting more than one beep. Can you find out the specs for the machine? That may be helpful.

look up the beep codes for that mobo manufacturer

Usually if it's a no-POST situation, you would be getting more than one beep. Can you find out the specs for the machine? That may be helpful.

That sounds like a dead motherboard or CPU then.
