NZXT H440 Lights

So the NZXT logo at the bottom of the window lights up. I was wondering if the LEDS were just a strip, or tailored to the letters; I am planning to Laser Cut an acrylic panel to go over their with my (conveniently 4 lettered) build name, Orca (B/W with blue accents). Judging from pictures, it looks like a strip, but not 100% sue. what do people think?

I do to, with this build the most adventurous I am being is using my school's acrylic cutter.

I took my h440 apart not too long ago to do some painting and if I remember correctly the leds for the logo are mounted onto a plate that screws down to hold the letters in place. The letters are kind of sandwiched in-between the larger black part and the plate with the leds. So to answer your question, I would say a little bit of both?

I think what you want to do is perfectly doable and you could easily figure out a way to use your own leds if that's your plan.
