So guys,

Just recenlty built a new rig with an i7 4790k and h100i gtx cooler.

Now I haven't run it load yet ( no stress test or gaming..still waiitng for the gpu) , but from what I see is that under no load conditions the temperature is about 40 C.

The cooler temp is 35 C wherease ambient is 32 C.

The point is my old pc with an i5 2500 and a stock intel cooler gives the same 40 C temp at no load.

So is my cooler working fine ?

Also the environment here is quite humid (70%) , can that effect cooler performance ?

at that ambient temp it might be about ok, how is the pump and fans connected? are they running at a high enough %?.  it seems high until you figure for 32c ambient (might still be a little high) but its really the load temps that matter most.  you can still run your pc and cpu under load with no gpu.  I'd advise intel's xtu and monitor the temps closely.

I'm almost positive the humidity will not play into it much since you are only dealing with sensible heat and not latent heat (changing from vapor/liquid/solid)
