Battlefield 4 Problems

Hello all, so my friend got Battlefield 4 recently. The first time he launched the game everything worked, he can run it on ultra settings with a constant 50-60 frames. It has been about a week from then until now, and when he tries to launch it now, it goes into a loading screen, then freezes and the audio loops. He tried repairing the game, that didn't work, restarting his computer, all that jazz. Campaign doesn't work either. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Has he recently updated anything like drivers/os? If he has updated his graphics driver tell him to revert to the previous one he was using before.
