Wel he IS playing on a 240Hz TV. Its just that the TV is only receiving a 30 or 60Hz signal and then interpolating the frames between. So in other words, it looks like shit compared to a regular 60Hz tv/monitor.

When in doubt, re-format.

"240 Hz" is just some sort of marketing ploy that I can't quite remember the logic of. I believe some TVs are even marketed as "480 Hz". However, It's all just pure BS. Displays capable of such framerates exist, but are too expensive to be placed in consumer goods.

Not true 240hz. What tv's with 240hz or 480 or 120 actually is get the frame and process extra frames inbeween the real ones to smooth the image. On a high quality tv the effect can look really good. And a cheap one it can look terrible. Either way it's terrible for games because the tv has to pre buffer many frames causing massive latency.

TV manufacturers advertise the hertz as the backlight flicker rate, not the panel refresh rate.

The "clear-motion adding extra frames in crap " is samsungs way of tricking people to buying their stuff. usually displayed as: 200hz + 400 motion plus
