I made one myself and they do work well if your cable would get stuck on your desk or something else. But if your mouse cable can move around freely without to much friction I wouldn't buy one.

Something to hold the mouse cord in place, so it doesn't get stuck on stuff

Sound useless to me

I like it since the braided cord gets caught on my desk. I used a small rock with rubberbands since most mouse bungees won't fit under my monitors.
