I'd recommend Intel over AMD for gaming. And if you are set on AMD, you can get an 8350 for the price you're looking at for the 8320. You will also need a good cooler. I recommend the Cooler Master 212 EVO.

Don't buy that power supply, either. It's crap. 

Also, to be honest, the 980 is overkill for 1080p gaming. You can save some money and put it towards a better CPU by just getting a 970.

If i go with intel is the i5 4690k enough or will the i7 4790k give me more power (gaming)?

 

also is there a motherboard that would allow me to upgrade to 5th generation in the future? (sorry if its a newb question)

Both are great gaming CPU's. And a good z97 mobo will suit you well.

Only go I7 if you're a heavy video editor or are looking to stream games. Otherwise, stick with the I5. Great performance for gaming.
