H80i "Overdrive"?

Go to solution Solved by helping,

Use fan control software that came with your motherboard to manually crank up the CPU fan speed. And no, increasing the pump speed is not safe if even possible.

My CPU is sitting at 35c - 39c idle(non OC) and im using an H80i to cool it. I am wondering if there is something I can do to increase the RPM of the radiator fans so that it stays cooler or if there is something I can do to make the pump faster(if its safe).

Thank you very much, I am using Corsair Link to increase the fan speeds BTW

depending on what your ambient temperature is (room temperature), idle (stock)

usually hovers about 6°-8° above ambient. to make it cooler than that will take

cooler air or phase change mechanism. faster fan speeds might lower 1°-2°, but

again depending on original speed and ambient temperature.
