Steam will not open?

Hello everyone,

 

 

Usually I open up steam every morning to see new deals and play some games in the morning. However today whenever I click the steam logo it does not open, when I right click it on my taskbar it shows me the categories like library, store, community, friends and ect. I tried to open up a game like cs.go by going to computer and then steam and so on it launches but there is a black screen and nothing is loading. I seriously don't know what might  of happened.

Did you try exiting it completely and then reopening it? Restart pc?

Open task manager, see if it's open there, if it is, terminate the process. Retry to open steam.

run task manager, kill process and restart....ive been having issues with steam loading up first click since upgrading to windows 10.... thats the only way i can get it to start..

i know how to do it u need to open your standard task manager the u see there steam client is running u gotta end the process and then click the steam icon and bamm it works
