Dear LTT.

My specs are on my profile. My pc wont turn on. When I press the power button the fans spin for a bit, graphic card led turns on and my cooler led turns on and then it stops. There is a red led light near my 24 pin atx connector that turns on, and clear cmos light is turned on. Clearing CMOS didnt't help either. There was a power surge but my pc was turned off and i had a surge protector. After the power went off i unplugged everything. I only plugged the power back in when the electricity came back on. Idk what it is, is my psu dead?

Try unplugging the PSU connections and test with the paper clip method to see if the PSU stays on and works normally. I would reference the manual to what that LED means but either I'm guessing it's the power or RAM LED.

It cant be ram since it was working before today. I even removed the ram and resetted it. I notice the psu fans not spinning. My psu is the evga 1000g2
