Looks good!

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

If the budget allowed I would go with a Samsung SM951 M.2 drive instead of the BX100. If that was not possible I might look at a Samsung 850 EVO. But it's a good build as is.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Do you guys think that the i7 is worth the 150$ more?

Here in Portugal the M.2 sata is 40$ more expensive than the BX100 :/ the EVO 15$ more, is it worth?

No and no. High res gaming actually taxes the GPU more and the CPU less so you're good on a 6600k no problem.

I'd keep your SSD.

M.2 SATA is worth no more than a 2.5" IMO. A 4-lane PCIe M.2 drive could be worth the added expense. The EVO is worth the added cost. It has excellent drivers and offers better performance than the BX100. But only if the budget allows - I would not change another part just to free up funds for the EVO.

Oh ok, another thing, is the EVGA B2 750W inferior to the one i chose? because its 30$ cheaper

It's VERY slightly less efficient and is semi modular and doesn't come with the same cable-sleeved prettyness that the G2 does. If you have no side panel window I would buy the B2 over the G2 in a heartbeat

They are both made by SuperFlower.

The main differences are that the G2 has a longer warranty (10 years) , it is fully modular and also has semi fanless mode. It is also based on a better platform (SuperFlower Leadex Gold)

The B2 has a 5 year warranty, and is only semi modular. It doesn't have semi fanless mode, and it is based on a slightly lesser platform (SuperFlower Golden Green HX)

The B2 is still a good psu if you want to save some money.

Pretty sure the B2 has one of the quietest fans around though.

Yes. But decide for yourself if the difference is worth the savings.

The thing is, i have a windowed case, second if i save in the PSU i can buy the samsung EVO, the prices might change, and I might change store, but here in Portugal the bx100 is at the price of a V300 from Kingston, its really cheap for what i can get. So Im confused :/

V300 < every other SSD. V300 has asynchornous NAND = bad. Keep the BX. The G2 has nice sleeved cables so I would go for that.

The b2 is a really good budget PSU if you wanna get that to get a Evo go right ahead, if no then keep everything the same

The EVGA G2 and BX100 is a very good combo. The 850 EVO is a bit faster, but nothing that would be noticeable.

When you get some extra money you could buy replacement Braided cables for the EVGA G2. A Black/White set would look nice.

This is what they look like: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CM-056-CM&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=2805

Overclockers UK should deliver to Portugal. I don't know if anywhere in Portugal sells them.

There are a few other European stores listed in the link below that you could also look at.

You want the 'E' Series for the EVGA G2.
