140mm Fan Recommendations

Go to solution Solved by Evolution,

Thanks for everyone's input!

NF-A14s it is :)

Hi everyone,

This is my first post, so hopefully i'm doing it right :)

Edit: Not sure if this should be in water cooling or air cooling...

I currently have a NZXT H440 with a Corsair H110i GT.

The stock fans have been giving me some grief and i hope the community can give me some recommendations.

Since the H440 has a raised 2x140mm mount on the top, I cannot run a push configuration due to the end tanks on the rad.

I've tried a pull config but the fans rub against the radiator when they're running at anything other than the lowest of rpms. (fans push air up, air pushes blades down into the rad.... SCIENCE!)

Are there any fans out there that would be good in a top-mounted pull config with a radiator?

Don't really care about looks, I just don't want to hear the horrible grinding sound.

Thanks again!

I'm in Calgary canada, so any e-tailer is good.

Don't worry about the budget.

If price isn't really an issue, the best of the best would be SW2's or NF-A14's:

If those are too expensive, some cheaper options include

Corsair makes good coolers but those fans are ridiculous, i changed the ones on my H105 immediatly

Good replacement fans

Noctua NF-A14

Noctua NF-P14

Fractal Design Venturi HP-14

Noiseblocker NB-BlackSilentPro PK-3 (Or PK-2 if 1200 RPMs are the max you are gonna run your fans, i like having a bit more headroom)

The other links are in previous posts, if money is no issue, NF-A14s are probably the best choice since you get that 6 year warranty and Noctua's costumer support, as well as a ridiculously good fan. All of the others are also great options.
