Most of that I cant get in Australia, thats why I dont use pcpartpicker.

I would go X99 over a Skylake i7. The price is more or less the same and the 5820K is a better cpu.

Its not on PcCaseGear which is an Australian company..

I just had a look on pccasegear and the 5820K is $40 more than the 6700K. On the plus side the MSI X99A-SLI is $10 less than the MSI Z170A-Gaming M7. So for the board and cpu combo in my spec it would only be $30 more expensive. The Ram should be about the same as they both use DDR4.

Also the Phanteks Enthoo Luxe is much cheaper than the 780T on that website. The Phanteks is a better case imo although case preference is a personal thing.

You should be able to go X99 with your budget either way  :)

I would suggest a few changes.

I am partial to Asus motherboards and the Hero line has an excellent history.

An AIO cpu cooler displays the motherboard to its best advantage. The H110i GTX has user selectable color logo display on the pump head.

A 2x8GB memory kit is a better choice on Z170. It puts marginally less strain on the controller and leaves two memory slots available for upgrading.

The Samsung SM951 4-lane M.2 ssd provides performance up to 4 times faster than a SATA III drive.

There are many reports of issues with the ST2000DM001 drive. Other Seagates are great, just not that model. But if the plan is to put the drives in a RAID array, drives designed for that use would be better.

An 850W psu will allow the addition of a second gpu. The EVGA G2 model is excellent, arguably the best available 850W unit.

If you are mostly gaming, the higher base clock of the i7-6700K make it a better cpu choice IMO.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

What happened to the $3500 budget ?  :o Are you seriously considering spending $759 on a motherboard ? I would look at the MSI X99 gaming 7 for $330 less.

Better PSU - http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=15_1619&products_id=27993

850 Evo is better value - http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=210_902&products_id=30449

That cpu cooler gets pretty average reviews. I would go with the Corsair H105 or H110i.

Prices should drop a fair bit by the time I plan on buying it but the PC will still be extremely good. The 3.5k budget is sort've just for hardware. Not including Keyboard, Mouse, Screen ect.
