Future PC Upgrades

Right now i have a PC build with the following specs:

 

-i5 4690k

-Hyper 212 EVO Air Cooler

-Corsair Vengeance Pro Series 8Gb (2x4Gb) 1866Mhz

-Asus STRIX GTX 970 (4Gb GDDR5)

-WD Caviar Blue 1TB

-MSI ATX Z97 Gaming 5

-Corsair CX750 80 Plus Bronze (750 Watt)

 

Im sure I'll want to upgrade my PC components in the future, specially because I have no SSD.

But Im not sure wich parts to get in the future so Im asking for help.      

 

 

 

(BTW I havent finished this build and havent bought a monitor or tower but I already have them in mind.)

Yeah definitely get an SSD ASAP. This build will last you for a while (except the ssd)

Sorry, I meant that after getting the SSD, the build will last a while.

Upgrade the air cooler to a water cooler. I suggest either Cooler Master 280mm or Corsair 280mm.

 

Ram - You really don't need it, but if you want to go ahead and upgrade to a 16 gig. There's no performance increase, but if you're a heavy modder (ie. Minecraft Tekkit, FTB, or crazycraft, or Gmod) It will come in handy in that case.

 

Cpu - You're pretty much golden. Unless you're going to do some heavy editing I would upgrade to the i7-4790K

 

Graphics card - You're good for now, but a 980 or 980TI can't hurt.

 

PSU - Upgrade to a 80+ Gold if you can. Better efficiency than the bronze

 

SSD - YES! Get one now! You can get a Kingston 120 for around $60 US.

 

HHD - Nothing wrong with adding another TB or two to your system.

But for the ssd should i get a normal ssd or a m.2 sata ssd? I've seen that the m.2 sata ones are a little faster tho...

Yeah get an M.2 if you can get one, also it depends whether your motherboard has an m.2 slot.
