I was wondering what port 5900 is? It seems that on my sisters macbook pro 13 inch i put her ip in the browser like this: 192.168.1.3:5900 and it gives me

I know that it is a vnc of some sort because i left mac vnc open

but what does that mean? also i was wondering how i could ssh my sisters computer that has no password if i left ssh open, but i want to ssh without RSA keys.

OFF TOPIC: I suggest every poll from now on to have "**CK EA" option instead of "Other"

  1. Port 5900 is the IANA port reserved for Virtual Network Computing (VNC). By enabling port 5900, all traffic to this port is routed to Intel AMT for KVM processing. The RFB protocol requires a password, so the first time an application enables port 5900, it should also set the RFB password.
  2. Thx for the ip.
