So, I have been considering cutting the cord for a while now. However, my case is slightly unique. I currently have basic cable which includes the local channels that I can get through an antenna and HBO, Showtime, and Starz for free. I wanted to upgrade to a plan with BBC and AMC, however, I suddenly realized that a package with those channels would make my bill suddenly much over $100 a month, so that's not an option.

I currently have an ongoing Netflix subscription, and I used to have a Hulu plus subscription (which I plan on actually renewing soon). However, I was wondering if there were any services that could help me get shows from channels like BBC and AMC not a year after they come out (*cough*netflix*cough*) at a reasonable price? I would also prefer it to not be something from iTunes, I already hate having that program on my computer just because of my nano as it is.

I cut the cord a few months ago and for the first couple of weeks I thought I needed to find things to watch on the various streaming apps and while I did find things to watch I slowly found myself watching less TV and keeping busy doing more productive things. Just give less a chance before you feel the need to find a new way to watch your old shows.

Try sling TV, it has a few of your channels, it works with your PC phone and set top box

https://www.sling.com/package

You get AMC and 22 other channels for 20 a month, HBO is another 5 a month

I don't see BBC, Showtime, or Starz tho

One day I will have my GTX 970. One day. PC specs are at my profile.

Not sure how to check what part works with what? Check out my compatibility guide!
