Help with air flow?

Hi guys

 

So I've begun assembling my PC (still waiting on graphics card to arrive) and unfortunately the fan set up I wanted doesn't fit the case. As you can see in the image, I've had to mount the 2nd CPU fan on the left hand side (instead of the right, above/ next to the memory). If I fit it to the right hand side I can't fit the case side panel on. So I don't know what to do. I've added a top fan as an intake in the hopes it will help the 3 exhaust fans I've got going, what do you think I should do? Is the top fan necessary? Should I remove the left CPU fan?

 

 

Would this be a better setup? (below) or would this take cool air away form the graphics card when I install it?

 

 

Any advice would be much appreciated!

The first fan setup is totally fine.

But don't remove the top fan. Your case might explode because of it.
Srsly, most people overthink fan setups way too much.

Hmm Ok thanks for the help! Now I've just got to start plugging everything in, this is the first PC I've ever assembled so hopefully I don't blow it all up

The first one is totally fine, balanced, slight positive air pressure, enough airflow, all good. The second one NO, less CPU cooling, unfiltered rear intake, which is a mess (Talking from experience, in a month it's a dust apocalypse). So....yeah, the first one is perfect.
