Need help finding a cheap water cooling loop

Go to solution Solved by W-L,

Which one of these kits would you recommend: http://www.coolerkit.no/shop/360-radiator-kits-307c1.html

One of theses two the EKWB one is good, and the XSPC one also the XSPC one does have a better pump (the D5). If you want to integrate both GPU's you will need waterblcoks from EKWB and some extra fittings/tubing.

Hi.

I was wondering if anybody could make me a cheap water cooling loop for the cpu only which is a I7 5960X. I have 2 gtx 980ti's in there and the case I am using is the corsair graphite 780T. The price must be less 3200 nok or the same using this site https://www.komplett.no/category/10462

They offer 2 kits EKWB EK-KIT X360 and the EKWB EK-KIT X240 or should I just stick with one of those?

Thank you in advance

For that pricepoint of ~$400 USD is not really doable, watercooling is not cheap by any means, for a good quality loop you are looking at around $500-600USD minimum for a dual GPU loop.

Starting with a kit and expanding it with GPU blocks is a good way to save some money for a watercooling loop however.

Jayztwocents made a water cooling loop worth 200$

Oh no oh no. I apoligize for the confusion. I just felt that I should mention that. He only made it for the cpu.

Ok that's doable with the EKWB kits if you want to watercool everything however you will need to get extra fittings and GPU waterblocks, not to mention ideally another rad if your go for the X360 kit from EKWB.

And yes a 360mm rad can fit in the top of the 780T.

Would you recommend one over the other or is it my decision? Do these water cooling solutions work on the lga 2011-3? It doesn't say on the website.

Yes both are compatible for 2011 sockets, I would personally go for the EKWB kit it has better fans and one of the best CPU waterblocks on the market and the DDC is still a very capable pump just behind the D5.
