REFRESH RATE ISSUES, HELP PLEASE - MULTI MONITORS

Ok, lets cut to the chase. My friend has an issue when he previews/streams a game on his PC which is btw: an i7 4790k, gtx 980 Ti  .. which is good for streaming.

and a Windows 10. anywho, the issue is when he is playing a game he feels this lack of "smoothness" when OBS is NOT minimized. but when it is minimized, he doesn't see any lag.. smoothness at its best.

And he is running a 144Hz monitor, and other 2 monitors next to it. (One of the monitors has the OBS on)

So.. TL;DR, When minimized OBS doesn't make the game lag. When minimized the game runs fine, and smooth. why?

Oh and it didn't happen on Win7 ? :o..

A preview in OBS is like duplicating the game twice. Try to see if only running a two monitor setup helps with the stuttering.

And yes.. it happens with Windows 7 too! Lmao. people at OBSproject told us that Windows 10 is the problem..

I was laughing so hard, telling me I was wrong and making Windows 10 "THE FACTOR, IT CHANGED.. IT MADE OBS LAG.." .. bs thing

So apparently no one knows this kind of problem ? It's weird because he loses no fps but it feels like he is. Like he can stay up to 300+ fps on CS GO, but feel this sort of a lag that occurs while having OBS opened on his second monitor. when he closes it completely lag disappears, or when he minimizes OBS. fps stays the same.

Also he had only got the GTX 980 Ti .. it didn't happen before with the R9 280x ..

Okay figured this out.

Windows 7, disabled Aero and the 3 monitors work fine, games are smooth, etc. with NVIDIA Windows 7 drivers.

Windows 10, no Aero, but the 3 monitors forces the 144Hz monitor to have problems and this weird lag, aka. 60Hz .. they both force the monitor to work at 60Hz while it shouldn't and it's annoying. Solution? Plug out the 2 monitors and the 144Hz monitor works flawlessly. BUT.. I figured out it's also has to do with NVIDIA Drivers. Because OBS isn't at fault here, or is it? Because it's lagging whenever it's up, but when it's minimized the monitor is 144Hz again, no lag. Ahah? Interesting.

So it has something to do with NVIDIA, need to figure out why.. how and if can anyone make sense out of this?
